About the Proposed Community​

The future Golden Gate Avenue development on State-owned land will serve as a contemporary model for how State and City agencies can work collaboratively to address housing affordability. To realize this vision requires an authentic, inclusive, and robust community engagement process that aligns the desire to enhance and preserve the existing neighborhood character and amenity resources with an equally important goal of creating new affordable housing opportunities for families and individuals.
